Sony Ad Touts PlayStation Move
Sony has launched a new Web commercial, featuring its "Kevin Butler" character, touting the company's forthcoming PlayStation Move motion controller, and taking some shots at the rival Nintendo Wii in the process.
In the 90-second ad Butler, the fictitious Sony gaming executive who has appeared in PlayStation ads for the past year, purports to address the March 2010 audience "from the future," meaning after the controller's introduction this November.
Calling the Move "the future of gaming," Butler points out that the new controller has buttons, and allows for easier and more realistic use. He also mocks the Wii's limitations.
