Sony Expands Hi-Res Listening Stations to More Than 250 Best Buy Magnolia Locations
Starting this week, Sony Electronics has begun expanding the presence of its Hi-Res Listening Stations at more than 250 additional Best Buy Magnolia Home Theater locations around the country. The Hi-Res in-store initiative was launched in 2015 in partnership with Best Buy and signals Sony’s “commitment to exposing audio enthusiasts to an immersive, high-resolution listening experience,” Sony said in an email to Dealerscope.
Sony’s Hi-Res Listening Stations are already installed in 82 Best Buy Magnolia locations.
The new displays will let consumers listen to various recordings—provided by Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group—through a number of Sony products, including their new hi-res Sony Walkman and a selection of compatible headphone models like the MDR-1As.
