Sony, at IFA, Debuts New Ultra HD TVs, Download Service
Sony this week announced an expanded 4K Ultra HD TV lineup with the X850A service, as well as its new 4K Ultra HD Video Download Service, which works with its Ultra HD Media Player.
The service launches with 70 full-length titles, including both the run of Breaking Bad and such movies as "Moneyball," "Think Like A Man," "Premium Rush," "Ghostbusters" and "The Amazing Spider-Man." The new TVs, meanwhile, come available in 55- and 65-inch sizes.
"We have been spearheading the advancement of 4K Ultra HD technology from the start, and have now reached another milestone as promised with the Video Unlimited 4K service going live," Sony Electronics President and COO Phil Molyneux said as part of the announcement.
