Finally, in July, Sony is introducing four 900MHz analog cordless phones: the SPP-N1020 ($50), the SPP-N1025 ($70), the SPP-A1070 ($80) and the SPP-A1050 ($60). The SPP-N1020 features a three-line backlit LCD screen, Caller ID, a Jog Lever with 50-name and number Caller ID memory and a capacity to store 50 names and numbers in its dialing directory. The SPP-N1025 has an additional dual keypad and speakerphone. The SPP-A1070 features headset jack with belt clip and a digital answering system with three mailbox options. Finally, the SPP-A1050 has a digital answering machine, also with three mailbox options; call-screening on base and memo recording; and a two-digit message counter.
Sony Financial Services, the joint company founded in 1999 by Sony Electronics and Heller Financial, is offering consumers a Web-based, revolving line of credit through American Investment Financial, a Utah-based industrial loan corporation.
