Sony Rolls Out Its New Z Series TVs at Video & Audio Center this Week
Last month, Sony debuted to the press gathered their brand new Z series 4K HDR Ultra HD line of TVs. At the event, held at Sony Pictures in LA, Sony discussed and demoed the new technology that was developed for these displays—which, to my seeing eye, put the Z series on par with LG’s OLED displays, based on out-of-the-box settings.
There, Sony also said the Z series would make its public debut in the next month through its own website, Amazon, BestBuy, and a few other authorized retailers.
Well, in a rather not-so-quiet fashion this week, Sony ventured a few miles south of their studio to take part in the official public unveiling of the Z series at retail. On Thursday, the 65-inch and 75-inch Z series models became available for purchase at the Video & Audio Center (VAC) location at the Village at Westfield Topanga.
