Sony announced Wednesday that it has teamed up with TomTom to release its first-ever in-dash car navigation system. The 7-inch XNV-770BT and 6.1-inch XNV-660BT units include such features as IQ routes, Advanced Lane Guidance, Quick GPSfix and more.
"TomTom's expertise in navigation and our long-standing tradition of premium audio and video are strongly represented with these new in-dash systems," Mike Kahn, director of Sony's mobile music business, said as part of the announcement. "This unique partnership and exciting product offerings represent a huge step forward for Sony in the mobile electronics business."
The two units will arrive in November, at MSRPs of $1,300 and $1,000, respectively.
