Soundstream to Release Their First Apple CarPlay Source Unit
Mobile car A/V manufacturers Soundstream announced a new upcoming Apple CarPlay unit of theirs. The unit will also include support for Android PhoneLink and SiriusXM.
Paul Goldberg, VP of sales and marketing for parent company Epsilon Electronics stated that "Soundstream continues to be committed to innovation" and exclaimed: "Our customers told us they wanted a Apple CarPlay source unit and we were happy to listen." The product will be Soundstream's first CarPlay head unit, the demand for which has apparently increased.
The device offers a "full multimedia car entertainment center" and includes features such as rear-view camera input, Bluetooth connectivity, USB playback and a wireless remote control. Using a dynamic SmartSense Touchscreen as well as a 6.2" HD TFT-LCD display, it also offers a "large format user interface to reduce distraction."
