New Outdoor Speakers From SpeakerCraft
SpeakerCraft last week introduced its first-ever line of On Ground outdoor speakers, which can be hidden in such unorthodox places as flower beds, plants, or even bushes.
Made from diecast aluminum with a 3-inch full-range aluminum cone driver, the speakers are driven into the soil with a ground spike. They are meant to be used with an additional subwoofer.
It was a natural step to build an outdoor speaker that mimics an exterior lighting fixture," the company's vice president of product development, Jeff Francisco, said as part of the announcement. "The look of the fixture is so universally accepted that most people won't even notice them."
