Sprint Calls For 90-Percent Recycling
Sprint Thursday set the ambitious goal of achieving a 90 percent rate of collection for reuse or recycling by 2017. The company has adopted a “Zer0 e-Waste” policy in order to accomplish this goal.
“This is a challenge for the entire industry,” Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said as part of the announcement. “Sprint is the first to set an aggressive 90 percent recovery goal. Sprint is committed to lead the industry in conserving natural resources, decreasing energy use and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.”
The EPA's Office of Conservation and Resource Recovery commended Sprint's efforts. For more information, visit www.sprint.com/recycle
