Spring Hong Kong Electronics Fair Moves to July
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), show organizers of the 2020 Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), has decided, in light of the coronavirus outbreak, and in consultation with industry representatives and in line with health measures taken by the Hong Kong SAR Government, to reschedule the show to July 25-28 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from its original, mid-April scheduled dates.
A total of eight HKTDC trade fairs originally scheduled for April 6-30, 2020 are being moved, according to the announcement. These include: the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition); HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition); HKTDC International ICT Expo; HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair; HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair; HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week; HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair; and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair; they will be held concurrently during those July dates at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The HKTDC will inform the exhibitors and buyers concerned of the rescheduling, with detailed arrangements of the July fairs to be shared in due course, according to the announcement.
“We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to exhibitors, pavilion organizers, industry associations and buyers from around the world who have been supportive to HKTDC fairs all along,” the issued statement goes on to say, continuing, “We will make every effort to provide industry with the same safe and effective trading platform in July and continue helping companies capture business opportunities through multiple channels.”
