Sprint Sets Instinct Price
Sprint Nextel announced Wednesday that the Samsung Instinct mobile phone, which is set to debut later this week, will carry a price tag of $129.99, the AP reported. That’s $70 less than the main product the touch-screen phone plans to compete with, Apple’s new iPhone.
The $129.99 tag is after a $100 mail-in rebate, while the $199.99 is the price of the smaller version of the 3G iPhone, set for release in July. The Instinct’s least expensive data plan, however, costs $69.99 per month.
Like the iPhone, the Instinct includes a touch-screen interface, GPS capability, and 3G connection speed.
