Spyclops Unleashes New 4K Surveillance Cameras and NVR
Metra Home Theater Group (MHTG), parent company of Spyclops Surveillance Systems, has announced that shipping has begun for two new surveillance cameras and a Network Video Recorder (NVR). All of the products are 4K compatible to allow for higher resolution surveillance and video recording over closed-circuit television networks for home and business.
Each channel on the NVR is recorded in 8MP 4K. The device features a 1TB pre-installed hard drive, and can support H.265 for maximum storage efficiency. Its two drive bays support up to 4TB HDD, which bring the total storage of the NVR to 8TB. There are VGA and HDMI outputs and 8-channel Power over Ethernet (PoE) Lan port connections. Integrators who prefer to install their own hard drive are able to do so without sacrificing the specs that are included in the NVR.
Options for the 4K cameras include the mini bullet or mini dome styles. Though they may look different on the outside, the two cameras are consistent in their capabilities. The ONVIF compliant IP cameras have an 8MP CMOS sensor with a 4mm fixed lens with HISILICON DSP Wide Dynamic Range. Both can support a main video stream of 8MP at 15 frames per second. Their built-in PoE and IR LEDS enable users to view up to 20 meters away at night.
Users can access their surveillance footage by using the Spyclops free remote viewing app or through a web browser.
