Staples to Emphasize CE
Staples plans to put a greater emphasis on technology products, a focus that will include a Super Bowl commercial this weekend. The campaign, created by McCann Erickson, will continue with commercial spots on various popular TV shows.
The campaign, called “Here They Come,” will feature such products as laptops, monitors, tablets, printers and more, as well as the company's "EasyTech" associates.
“We wanted to break through in a unique, yet relevant way to let the world know that we are evolving the tone of our advertising to be consistent with establishing Staples as a tech authority,” Steve Fund, senior vice president of global marketing for Staples, said as part of the announcement.
