Datavision and Partners Host Charity Event
More than 475 boys and girls competed in tennis and basketball games as part of the Stella Liniado Rainbow Foundation's annual Rainbow Sports Tournament on July 11 at the JCC in Deal, N.J.
The foundation is in honor of the daughter of Albert Liniado, president of New York City-based retailer DataVision, and his wife Mary. It has hosted a series of events to raise money that is used to provide patients with cancer research and bone marrow testing. The efforts of the foundation have so far helped to save 15 lives.
DataVision, along with its vendor partners Intel, Sony and Toshiba, sponsored this year's event. Belkin, Koss and BuiltNY also provided gifts and prizes.
