Streamlining the Service Repair Experience
Granville Hinton, manager of Service Net's National Service Solutions, notes it can take three to four months for a manufacturer to "realize failure on those parts, build the replacement parts in an offshore facility and get it over into our distributors." However, Hinton says Service Net has the ability to search for parts on-line or through its distributor networks.

At times, not knowing the status of a repair—or worse yet, getting incorrect information about that status—is what drives consumers berserk. Administrators have an increasing number of tools at their disposal to give the consumer access to information about their repair request.
