There is no substitute for effective communication in any team activity, including business. Salespeople, installers, managers and storeowners (coaches) make up the team. The players on the team must know their roles. Under no circumstances can you assume the players will know what to do if you do not tell them. Too often owners assume their employees know what to do and then are disappointed when they lose the game (customer) because the employee didn’t know what was expected.
