STS To Introduce Fourth-Generation Audio Chip
The semi-conductor technology and chip maker that provides wireless technology to Sony, Philips, Panasonic and other electronics giants is on Wednesday introducing its fourth-generation digital wireless audio chip. The chip, called the STS DARR81, is set to provide “high definition multi-channel uncompressed wireless audio,” STS, the company behind it, announced.
With the new chip, STS seeks to emphasis high-definition audio, multi-channel capability, whole-home ability, low power consumption and low price.
