After Successful Crowdfunding Campaign, AfterShokz Announces New Additions to Headphones Lineup
Just over a month after it posted its initial project on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo, AfterShokz has sold more than 5,500 of its Trekz Titanium headphones and raised nearly $500,000—more than 700 percent of its original $65,00 goal. That success has led the company to expand its lineup with two new additions that were previously unplanned: multipoint pairing capability and a third color option.
AfterShokz explains that the Trekz Titanium open-ear sport headphones utilize the latest in bone conduction audio technology to “deliver the best user experience for runners, cyclists, hikers, and more, while ensuring personal safety and long-term comfort.”
The new multipoint pairing feature was a top request among project backers, AfterShokz said in a statement, and it will allow them to pair their Trekz Titanium to two different devices simultaneously. This means they’ll be able to, for example, answer a call and sync to their music without having to disconnect or make adjustments to the devic.
