Sony's reorganization of its supply chainmanagement means change for retail, too

It has been a year of change for Sony Electronics. In 2001, the company initiated reorganization of its operations to deal with leaner times. Layoffs, management restructuring and investment in new areas all played a part, and the management of the supply chain was a primary target. Dealerscope recently sat down with Sony President, Consumer Sales Company, Ron Boire to talk about these changes and how they affect the retailer.
