Survey: 95 percent of GPS Owners Satisfied
According to a survey released last week by J.D. Power and Associates, 95 percent of GPS device owners report that the device “meets or exceeds their expectations,” although as many as two thirds have reported some problems.
The Power survey was reported by Consumer Reports. The survey was conducted of 4,013 owners, and measured appearance, display screen, ease of use, routing, speed and voice directions.
It also found that customers sometimes complain about the accuracy of maps, as well as in-car mounting systems. The survey also found that GPS users would like their devices to include real-time traffic, weather, speed alerts, and connectivity with music players.
