During a career that spanned some 15 years with the Consumer Technology Association, Susan Littleton led the marketing efforts for the association and its annual tech convention, CES. In that time, she and her team helped build the buzz for the largest North American tech tradeshow, driving attendance up some 50 percent between 2003 and 2017, according to CES.
Littleton passed away at her home in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday after a brief battle with cancer, CTA said in a statement.
“Susan mentored and taught so [much], and she leaves a strong legacy,” Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CTA, said in the statement. “She helped propel CES to greatness, and her planning and organizational skills are legendary among our staff. We will miss her terribly.”
