Target to Eliminate Jobs
Best Buy wasn't the only Minneapolis-based retail chain to announce layoffs at its headquarters on Tuesday.
Target Corp. announced that it is letting go of 600 employees at its headquarters, and will also leave 400 currently vacant positions remain unfilled. According to the Star Tribune, the move is the largest cut of its kind in the company's history.
The company also announced that it will shutter its distribution facility in Little Rock, Ark.
