Target has started rolling out its new connected home experience center to see how shoppers respond. The first center will be located in a suburban Minneapolis store, followed by stores in more obvious tech hubs like Cupertino, California, and Tribeca in New York City.
According to Endgadget, the Minnesota store will pioneer a major change in how the chain sells electronics. Target has found that consumers are confused by how IoT devices work together and even where they are located in the store.
Target hopes increasing consumer knowledge in the IoT space will increase sales.
