TCL Electronics has announced that it will use the platform of CES 2020 in Las Vegas next month at its Jan. 6 press conference to spotlight the next generation of Mini-LED technology, among a full suite of flagship product innovations.
The company first spoke of its Mini-LED TVs earlier this year, when it made available for pre-order through select retailers its 8-Series, featuring high-performance Mini-LED backlight technology. TCL said its strategy for 2020 is to continue to improve and drive the penetration of Mini-LEDs. With Quantum Contrast technology, the company says, a new standard for TV picture quality has been established with tens of thousands of individual Mini-LEDs powering TCL’s premium models for a display with improved contrast and clarity.
The company will not only provide information there on next-gen Mini-LED, but also will reveal what Kevin Wang, CEO of TCL Industrial Holdings and TCL Electronics, said in a statement is the company’s “vision for the industry in the AI and IoT age… TCL is committed to offering a wider range of products to satisfy the needs of consumers and provide them with better, more personalized experiences.”
