Tech Companies Did Really Well in the 2017 Harris Poll Reputation Quotient Report
Harris Poll recently released its annual Reputation Quotient report, which measures the reputations of the 100 most visible companies in the U.S. as perceived by the general public. The report has been around since 1999, and Harris Poll said it has “proven to be an invaluable tool for managing corporate reputations.”
The report itself is put together in two phases—a nomination phase that helps to determine the most “visible” companies, and a ratings phase that gathers insight from more than 30,000 U.S. adults on six different reputation dimensions. The ratings then are combined into an overall ratings quotient and the companies get ranked 1-100 based on that RQ.
As has been the case over the past several years of the Harris Poll report, a number of tech companies performed exceptionally well.
