While the primary purchase motivators for men are similar, women are much more focused on adopting technology that allows them to stay in touch with people they know and love. This is largely why mobile-connected devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets were among the top five products purchased by online women in the past 12 months. These same products, as well as other technologies that help women communicate (e.g., using social media, e-mail and video chat) along with devices that provide entertainment value will be the most sought out by women this year.
