This week, TEMPOE—a provider of no-credit-required payment services for consumers and dealers—hosted their annual meeting at The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas, the backyard of the company’s CEO Orlando Zayas. There, TEMPOE held an invigorating day of education for dealers that covered a range of topics including upcoming offerings, a look at how TEMPOE operates as a business, and advice and best practices to make the most of what the company can deliver.
But it was a general session that opened the day that really stood out and had almost nothing to do with the business of TEMPOE itself. Rather, the company spent some time talking about a topic that has businesses everywhere up in a tizzy: Millennials.
Granted, it’s a topic that I have been vocal on—specifically related to how millennials should be treated no differently than other generations—it really hit home on a number of levels.
