These sound like simple things to do, but I will tell you that at one time my VP of sales was concerned that only 35 perccent of his sales team was paying attention to all the suggestions you see above. Sun Tzu would not ask if the soldiers understood the mission, but rather if the lieutenant understood how to communicate direction.
It is simple, but customers and consumers alike are unanimously more inclined to become repeat customers, and most likely to tell their friends and family about an excellent experience if you treat them with respect and act as a professional.
It is with this last thought in mind that I begin working on a 10-point pledge between manufacturers and retailers (that goes both ways) that I will present for your consideration. These will be considerations that each member of the “partnership” should not find controversial, and have been discussed in the past few weeks of this series.
