New Site For CUTFATT Campaign
The anti-price gouging group CUTFATT (Coalition United to Terminate Financial Abuses of the Television Transition) Thursday announced a new Web site, meant to encourage consumers to "hold DTV patent holders accountable."
The site is located at www.cutfatt.org
"With analog televisions going dark in just over three months, American consumers are poised to spend more than $2 billion on DTVs before the digital transition,” the group's spokesman, Amos Snead, said as part of the announcement. “CUTFATT.org provides consumers with the important information about unfair patent holders’ practices and an easy way to take action.”
