FCC Chairman Coming to CES
The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Julius Genachowski, will appear at International CES in Las Vegas in January, participating in a live one-on-one discussion with CEA President/CEO Gary Shapiro. The discussion will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at noon, at the Las Vegas Convention Center's North Hall.
Shapiro had held similar events at CES the past few years with Genachowski's predecessor, Kevin Martin.
“Chairman Genachowski is an entrepreneur who understands the importance of technology and innovation for our country. The FCC is actively engaged on several fronts to bring broadband and emerging technologies to all Americans,” Shapiro said in a statement.
