CEA Opens i-Stage Submissions
The Consumer Electronics Association announced this week that it has opened the 2009 i-stage competition for entries. The contest, being held for the second year, is meant to "uncover the most innovative new consumer technology products coming to market."
The i-stage event will take place Oct. 19 at CEA Industry Forum in Phoenix, where finalists will present their products and the winner will be announced. The winner receives $40,000 and an exhibit at CES next January, while the runner-up receives $7,500 and a chance for a booth at CES Unveiled.
Entries are being accepted now through July 31. For more on the contest, visit here.
