CEA Praises Net Neutrality
The Consumer Electronics Association Thursday praised the FCC for their decision to begin a formal review of net neutrality rules.
"CEA applauds Chairman [Julius] Genachowski's commitment to preserving and protecting a free and open Internet," President and CEO Gary Shapiro said in a statement. "The Chairman has worked to ensure that Internet users have choice and access to content, services, applications and devices.
"We look forward to working with the Commission to develop common sense rules that preserve openness without undermining incentives to invest in broadband infrastructure."
