The Imaging Alliance Announces Support for "Save Your Photos Month"
The way we think of taking pictures has, over the last few decades, shifted entirely towards the digital. But how can consumers best future-proof their treasured memories?
Announcing their support for "Save Your Photos Month," The Imaging Alliance seeks to celebrate "family history, memories and stories" by educating consumers on how to keep their treasured memories safe in photographic form. Sponsors for the non-profit organization will offer events including five online webinars as well as various other opportunities for the September event.
The Association of Personal Photo Organizers started the initiative as a "public service outreach campaign," said company President Cathi Nelson. She also explained that Save Your Photos Month aims to "educate families about the value of their family photos", which has now become "more important than ever".
