Cowboys Board Goes in Guinness Book
The much-ballyhooed scoreboard at the new Dallas Cowboys' stadium, designed by Mitsubishi Electric, has gotten another accolade- a spot in the Guinness World Records.
The screen has gained an entry in the book as the World’s Largest High-Definition Video Display. A certificate was presented prior to the Cowboys' game against the Carolina Panthers Monday night at the stadium, which is in Arlington, Tex.
The scoreboard, which at its longest is 72 feet high by 160 feet wide, hangs directly above the field. The scoreboard was a subject of controversy last month when it was struck by a punt during the stadium's first preseason game.
