The New Olympus Campaign
Along with launching a new advertising campaign that features their first television spots since the mid 90s, Olympus, makers of digital and film cameras and other photographic products, have launched a new initiative to better educate retailers.
The unprecedented, four-part advertising and marketing campaign includes three 30 second TV spots, three print media ads and a revamped website. In addition, Olympus has put together a bundle of information for retailers, highlighting the finer points of their products for sales associates.
Utilizing things like pocket guides to their products, the company aims to bring retailers up to date on their increasingly technology heavy products. In addition to educating retailers on technological aspects, Olympus is imparting the idea that rather than stress jargon, numbers and specs, the sales person should talk to the consumer about quality, enjoyment and benefits digital products and images can bring to them.
