The Next, Next iPhone is Shaping Up to be a Game Changer
While many an Apple customer wait with bated breath for the launch of the iPhone 7—unofficially scheduled for sometime in late September—more and more signs are pointing to a much larger and more impressive iPhone announcement a little over a year from now.
The more leaks we see and hear about the forthcoming model of Apple’s flagship smartphone point to a somewhat incremental improvement in the device’s feature set. The reported look and feel of the iPhone 7 will reportedly be very similar to the 6 and 6s currently out in the market. The expected upgrades could include the removal of the headphone jack (in favor of a lightning cable connection or the ability to only work with Bluetooth-enabled headphones), a waterproof design, wireless charging, and a dual rear camera design in the 7 Plus.
All good and dandy. But why skimp on the overall design of the phone? It’s essentially a 6s/6s Plus 2.0.
