The Sixth Annual Women in CE Legacy Awards at CES
This annual event, held this year on Tuesday, Jan. 6, during the 2015 International CES at Planet Hollywood, recognized the achievements and industry contributions of six noteworthy women.
The 2015 Honorees: Amy College, senior vice president of merchandising at Best Buy; Amy Jo Smith, president, DEG (the Digital Entertainment Group); Andrea Smith, freelance journalist and television producer; and Nasrin Thierer, founder and CEO of Revenew, Inc. The Carol Campbell Inspiration Award went to Michelle Troupe, A/V buyer at Seattle’s Definitive Audio. The Woman to Watch Award was presented to Lauren Theobald, marketing communications manager of Milestone A/V Technologies. Guest speaker at the event was CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro.
