Caught Best Buy Shoplifter Calls in Bomb Threat
A woman upset at Best Buy managers for kicking her out of the store after she attempted to shoplift got her revenge- with a bomb threat. According to the Daily Journal newspaper in New Jersey the woman, Diane Gregor of Vineland, N.J., had been caught at the store on Monday while attempting to shoplift an AC adaptor, and was charged with both shoplifting and resisting arrest. After Gregor returned to the store the following morning and was ejected from the premises, she allegedly called in the threat, which caused the store to be evacuated.
When calling the store Gregor, who a store employee described as “a woman trying to sound like a man,” allegedly said that “there’s a bomb in the store, and it’s gonna go boom” prior to hanging up. The store manager could tell the caller was Gregor and police later arrested at her at her home. She was charged with false public alarm; police say she admitted guilt after being taken to police headquarters
