Veteran Thief Faces Jail
An experienced retail thieft was caught stealing more than $1,000 worth of electronics from a Kmart in Pennyslvania, the Web site LancasterOnline.com reported. Casandra Morant, who has six prior convictions for retail theft, may face up to seven years in jail, after her latest arrest. According to the story, Morant and her accomplice entered the store and smuggled various items, including a camera, phones, and an mp3 player, into a trash barrel; they were apprehended while trying to leave. Most of the incident was recorded on store surveillance cameras.
