Nokia Introduces First Laptop
The world's largest mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia, announced Monday that it will soon introduce its first-ever notebook computer, the Nokia Booklet 3G.
The new computer will run Windows and feature an Intel Atom processor and 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi capability. The computer also weighs only 1.25 kilograms.
"A growing number of people want the computing power of a PC with the full benefits of mobility," the Finnish phone giant's Executive Vice President for Devices, Kai Oistamo, said as part of the announcement. "We are in the business of connecting people and the Nokia Booklet 3G is a natural evolution for us.
