Thiel Audio and Olive Media, Inc. announced Tuesday that they have teamed up on a new networked music system. The Olive+Thiel HD Music System (HDMS) combines components from both companies, utilizing ethernet cables in order to avoid the cumbersome components normally associated with such systems.
The system was announced at International CES, and the companies are demonstrating it at the Venetian Bassano Ballroom 2601.
“THIEL views the Olive+THIEL HD HiFi Music System as an important step forward in our quest to give consumers uncompromised sound quality in a complete package that is effortless to set up and operate,” THIEL president Kathy Gornik said as part of the announcement. “We wanted to eliminate all of the confusion and technobabble and just let our customers enjoy listening to their music."
