Third-Annual Appreneur Scholarship Competition is Seeking Entrants, Will Recognize Winners at 2016 CES
It seems more and more there are stories about young teenagers striking it rich with some fantastic app idea that leaves adults everywhere wondering, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
It’s within that entrepreneurial spirit that the Appreneur Scholar award program, sponsored by the Kay Family Foundation and produced by Living in Digital Times, seeks to recognize the creative efforts of young student app makers. And, for the third year in a row, the program will honor two students with a $5,000 scholarship to help them pursue their studies and refine their apps. The award will be presented during the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.
"Our foundation is committed to supporting aspiring entrepreneurs as they work to become tomorrow's leaders of industry," Elim Kay, president of the Kay Family Foundation, said in a statement. "Our partnership with Living in Digital Times at CES enables us to shine the spotlight on the young minds shaping our digital future."
