That will not generate the profits you need, and a customer gained through low price will be easily lost when your competitor offers a lower price. It's also difficult to take a customer away from the competition because of the loyalty people have to their suppliers. The longer a consumer has been a customer of a competitor, the more loyalty they have.
But when you do a better job marketing your business and servicing your customers, you will outsell your competition. In many cases, you don't have to spend extra marketing dollars on these initiatives. Just focus on reminding consumers all you do for them.
