To (almost) No Surprise, Best Buy is Still Struggling
Best Buy is in trouble. The electronics brick-and-mortar juggernaut has lost a lot of momentum trying to compete with Amazon and other online retailers and there is no end in sight.
On one hand, Best Buy still the champions the consumer electronic retail market. Opposition like Sears and Radio Shack just can't compete as proof of a recent shift out of CE focus and an almost entire liquidation, respectively, from the two companies.
On the other hand, Best Buy will be the last to survive the sinking ship. There is a real, quantifiable end to the days of having to travel to buy goods and they apparently haven't cracked the cipher that Amazon figured out a long time ago.
