There is no question that the CE industry has introduced remarkable technologies, overcome difficult economic times and produced innovative retail formats.It’s interesting to reflect on why things have changed and whether or not we could have done anything to adjust the outcomes.
While it’s difficult to predict trends and consumer desires, it is easy to examine social media streams to understand why society tends to shift in the direction it does.One way to do that is to follow the progress of innovative retailers and manufacturers. Retailers, of course, hold an interesting position in our industry.They have a direct line of communication with customers who buy the latest products and technology.And there are a handful of manufacturer’s who actively listen to consumers and tap into their imaginations to make the dreams of future technology possible. The smart manufacturers also work closely with retailers in making dreams a reality.
