Toshiba Announces New Projector

Toshiba on Tuesday announced that it will introduce a new projector in its DLP BrilliantColor mobile projector line, called the TDP-EX20U. The projector’s features include “Extreme Short Projection” that can broadcast a huge image from a short distance, as well as a 2,300 ANSI lumens, and compatibility with Windows Vista.

The TDP-EX20U is being marketed to the education and business markets, in addition to home usage. It is capable of projecting a 60-inch image from only three feet away.

The product will be released with a suggested retail price of $1,599; no official release date has yet been announced.
