Kids of all ages will, for the first time, have a dedicated event during the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) annual North American International Toy Fair where they can interact with their favorite brands, toys, and games—all under one roof.
TIA and LeftField Media announced the inaugural Play Fair, which will be collocated with TIA’s event in New York City’s Javits Center North on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday the 14th. The Play Fair will be open to families, collectors, and media, and the groups said it will feature toy reveals, photo ops, character interactions, stage performances, author readings, celebrity signings, live music, giveaways, and interactive exhibits.
“Play Fair will provide toy lovers of all ages with unique and unparalleled access to enriching immersive events and experiences built around the power of play,” Marian Bossard, Toy Industry Association SVP of Global Market Events, said in a statement. “It’s a truly one-of-a-kind event for families and fans to explore nostalgic and innovative toys and brands in an all-ages atmosphere that can’t be beat!”
