Transshipped At A Cost
Net Enforcers is a relatively new company, founded in November 2002 by car audio eng-ineer Joseph Loomis and his business partner Adam Cohen. Net Enforcers uses proprietary software technology and in-house personnel to identify Web sites that infringe on its clients' name, trade marks content, logos and images. This includes monitoring of online auction and e-commerce site such as eBay, Yahoo! and Froogle (Google's product search service).
According to Cohen, a team reviews every piece of infor-mation the software collects. The company tailors its services to each client's goals. "Some clients only care about current model product," Cohen says, "Some are enforcing everything. Some are looking for dealers not complying with their MAP programs."
