Two Keynoters Announced For CES
The Consumer Electronics Association on Tuesday announced the first two keynote speakers for next January’s International CES in Las Vegas. The two speakers are Intel Corp. Chairman Craig Barrett and Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers.
Both men will speak as part of the Technology and Emerging Countries Program (TEC), which is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian.
“Craig Barrett and John Chambers are long-time advocates for education and sustainable development in emerging countries,” CEA’s President and CEO, Gary Shapiro, said as part of the announcement. “Their commitment to innovation and passion for utilizing technology for economic growth are inspirations, and we are thrilled to welcome back these compelling speakers to the 2009 International CES.”
