To put it rather bluntly, I’ve never been a real fan of the around-the-neck segment of headphones that have become increasingly popular over the last few years. I find that most options in this space are not comfortable or downright awkward to wear, and they end up feeling more in the way when they’re, in theory, supposed to keep your headphones out of the way. Perhaps, though, the problem was just that I hadn’t found the right pair of these in-ear, around-the-next options to suit my needs. Like they have with their previous headphone options that we’ve been able to review, 1MORE seems to have provided me with that solution.
The company’s Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones live up to everything we’ve come to expect from this edgy yet sophisticated audio brand. They come with the Hi-Res Audio seal, which signifies their top-notch tuning and performance. The playback comes through with a noticeable (but not overwhelming) boost to the bass, which is a desirable trait to this reviewer. That type of sound profile could be seen as a bit muddling to others and depending on the type of musical selection the user prefers, but it certainly puts the power of these headphones on full display.
As for the comfort level of wearing these headphones, the neckband itself is a super flexible and soft rubberized texture. Part of what makes other options in this category so difficult to get behind is the fact that most utilize a plastic piece that encompasses the entirety of the device. The intent of the product is to entice the user to wear it all day, being able to simply put in and remove the earpieces at will. But if the build of the product isn’t comfortable—which most aren’t—or if the design makes it get caught awkwardly in your attire, it really defeats the purpose.
